1. WVIC Sunday Islamic School
Mission
The mission at the WVIC weekend school is to build a foundation that is based on the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. The goal is to provide an Islamic environment that would help groom students into adults with a strong Muslim identity and moral values. Islamic excellence is as important as academic achievement, and the WVIC Sunday Islamic School works toward empowering students to face future challenges. The school's director describes the school's vision as to "continue to grow, Insha’Allah and be able to provide quality Islamic education and a safe Islamic environment to the children of our community, enabling them to grow into role models in society and the world at large."
Sunday School Information:
The academic year begins in August and ends in May. It comprises of two semesters.
Fall Semester: August - December
Spring Semester: January – May
Students: Sunday School currently enrolls students ages 5-17 yrs.
School Hours: The school meets on Sundays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm during the school academic year. The school curriculum is taught by volunteers and paid staff from the community.

2. Weekly Free Classes:
a. Learn Quran: This class is conducted by Sheikh Waleed Rifai. This class introduces the student to correct reading, pronunciation, meaning and structure of the Quranic Arabic language.
Day & Time: every Wednesday from 7:45 to 8:45 pm
b. Learn Islam: This class is conducted by Muhammad Khalid Hayat Sandhu. It is aimed at teaching the basic principles and the fundamentals of Islam to the new Muslims (Reverts).
Day & Time: Bi-weekly, every second & fourth Friday of the week from 8:00 – 9:00 pm.
